CDM

CDM is a smart unit for controlling a PM DC motor. Having a microcomputer which take care of controlling. Steering can be done with external switches or by PC (PLC). The motor have soft start. If overload then motor is stopped and the led is flashing red light, to reset the alarm starts the motor in the opposite direction. The Led is turned on red light if low power else green light. Can have loads up to 16 A. The device detects whether 12 or 24 volt motor.

  • Power: + (8 – 32) VDC.
  • Current load: 0-16 A.
  • DC Motor 12/24 VDC.
  • Start ramp (160 mS) PWM.
  • Adjustable overload limit (one potentiometer for forward and reverse direction) on the right side of the box.
  • Delayed monitoring of start current for the motor (500 mS).
  • A point (led) on the upper side showing:
    - Green light if ok.
    - Red light if low power.
    - Red flashing light if overload.
  • Short-circuit for motor then standby.
  • Prepared for inductive load.
  • Prepared for external output (3) and led (4).
  • Low standby current.
  • Switches for forward (7) reverse (8) connection against plus pole.
  • Switches for end stop (9, 10) connection against plus pole. Option.
  • External serial communications (Uart, I2C).
  • Encapsulation: small plastic box (85.5*56.5*39 mm).
  • Use external cable for connection to screw terminal.
  • Serial interface to PC (PLC). Option

SW1 Momentary switches forward.

SW2 Momentary switches reverse.

S1 Magnetic switch on actuator breaks if end and forward.

S2 Magnetic switch on actuator breaks if end and reverse.
